Jesus Revelation Part 1

Hey, Guys, it’s been a little while since my last post. I’ve been busy but I cannot forget the mission so here is my latest blog. I found myself reading an old paper I wrote for school. It blessed me and I thought it was powerful so I wanted to post it so that it may minister to others. Please be on the lookout for more posts. Love you all, Jesus Bless!

Also, after reading this post please comment. You can answer this question for others to view “What has Jesus Christ revealed to you? How has Jesus changed your life?”

Jesus Revelation

Craig Holder

Revelation 1:8

“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,”says the Lord,“who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”

Let us cast our crowns to the One who is greater, yet became the lesser that we might be saved. Let us not think that he has come, yet we are greater and He is the benefactor. Neither let us not think too highly of ourselves, for we have the knowledge of good and evil, yet He was just a good teacher. Who is He? Well, He is the one called Jesus.  Is Jesus the Son of God? Is Jesus your Homie? Is Jesus the Prophet? IS JESUS THE CHRIST? Who is Jesus to you? Is He Lord and Savior?  Is He the one who conquered death and gave us victory? Or is he nothing more than an imaginary figure, a Santa Claus for Christmas (Jesus Christ’s Birthday) and a bunny for Easter (Resurrection Sunday). Was He just a good teacher, a sorcerer, or just a good man who loved the lord, or blasphemed the lord.

Can you make a case for Christ? Who is He in your Life? Who is He in mine? Is my testimony sure concerning my Lord, my faith, being justified by the completed work of Jesus Christ? Have I been transformed and conformed to the image of Christ? Who am I and is the great I AM in me? Can I stand on the word if it’s not true? The Bible says “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1)” so if that’s so without Christ then the Bible is a farce. So have you and I been made over in the light of His Glory? Or condemned by a meaningless Gospel? Is it just the good news for some, none at all, or for everyone? Was He found a liar? Did the apostles die in vain? Do we really have eternal Life? The questions are endless for those who lack faith.

The Gospel

I can make a case for Jesus Christ because He changed my life for real. Even better is the infallible proof (Acts 1:2) of His established power in the earth, even today. Every creation on the earth can attest that Jesus IS THE GREAT I AM, even though the world denies Him. The enemy wants to distort our image of Jesus. We are to uphold the message of the Gospel which tells of the great work and deliverance through Jesus. The Gospel never fades but is altered by corruptible men and must be preserved in truth. The Gospel is so much more than just good news, it’s a message of Hope, faith, and Love to whoever believes “But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:8-9)”; “For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. (Romans 10:13)”. How can the greatest story ever told not be true? And how could Jesus not be the Anointed one? Paul became a servant to all men that He may win the more (1 Corinthians 9:18-20). Peter took on the grace of God which exceeds the Law that he may minister in of house of Cornelius (Acts 10). Steven was stone to death while testifying of the Kingdom of God (Acts 6, 7). And John “the Beloved” didn’t flee at Jesus’ crucifixion knowing that he was a wanted man and if they would nail the King of Glory to a tree then surely they would take his life for nothing (John 19:26-27). But The Gospel transcends the understanding of men, yet it’s through the knowledge of Christ that man comes to Him. The Gospel is made plain, but also Christ has yet to be revealed to many because they denied the Truth. The Gospel is the truth and Jesus Christ is the Gospel, better yet He is the TRUTH and the WORD is the TRUTH and HE is the WORD. All things were made for Him through Him and by Him so that salvation has come to us by His good pleasure. The message of the Gospel comes so that we may have hope and deliverance through Jesus.

Is Jesus the CHRIST (Anointed One, Messiah)?

Is Jesus the Messiah (The promised and expected deliverer and Savior)? I wonder if you have ever asked yourself that question. Many Jews to this day do not acknowledge Jesus as their savior and kabbalah Jews set themselves against Christians with their false teachings and deception, both naturally and spiritually. If Jesus is the Messiah then can His existence be proven? As a Man or Woman of faith have you ever studied apologetics? The “theology concerned with the defense and rational justification of Christianity”. Without Jesus Christ we have no Christianity, and if the True Messiah is yet to come then who have we been worshipping? For what proof do we have that Jesus was the Messiah? Everything that was foretold by the prophets was fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

The Prophetic Utterance of Isaiah

Isaiah 7:14 – Virgin Birth

Jesus was born of a virgin mother who never knew a man before her pregnancy. Jesus was the only man to have ever been born this way (Matt.  1:18-25).

Isaiah 9:6-7 – Son Called God

Jesus was not only called the Messiah but the Son of God, even declaring Himself the Son. Jesus is the only name that has all power and it has all power because He is the Anointed One.

Isaiah 35:4-6 – Perform Miracles

Jesus performed many miracles and the stories are many even more than the bible has written.

Isaiah 49:6 – God’s Salvation

The Salvation of Jesus Christ reaches even to the far ends of the earth. Jesus’ salvation is Sure. Jesus came to save all those who shall believe in Him and reconcile them back to Jehovah.

Isaiah 53:4-6 – He would die for our sins

Jesus would come to die for our sins. Jesus was crucified, and nailed to the cross. He suffered all humiliation, pain, guilt, and shame. He took on all our burdens and sins and delivered us from them all. He rose on the Third day that we may have life and life more abundantly.

There are well over 30 prophecies in the Old Testament fulfilled by Jesus Christ and His ministry. When we look to self and not look to Jesus we miss the evidence and the evidence is stacked on the side of Jesus. Many others spoke of Jesus and His life outside of the bible. Josephus the Jewish Historian spoke of Jesus and His power to heal the sick and raise the dead even stating that Jesus was the Christ. There is another very important and well-known Historian who wrote about Jesus. His name was Tacitus and he mentions the death of Jesus and the impact of His message to the early Christians. There are many more testimonies to the existence of Jesus and the power and anointing He had. Now this is not a paper solely written to convince you that Jesus is who He said He was, but to make clear the awesomeness of His Majesty. My Faith is already rooted in Christ Jesus, and I am standing on the very word from His mouth.  If I have not Christ then I have nothing. Before even coming into all this knowledge of Christ’s existence which is a faith builder, I already believed and knew Jesus was my Savior.

Is Jesus the Anointed One (To smear with oil, consecrate to office and service)? Jesus was anointed and appointed by God to fulfill the plan of Salvation. Jesus was smeared with the oil from heaven and consecrated for His purpose since the beginning. Jesus is all-powerful and more than able to save us. Jesus has overcome the world that we may walk in Him. Jesus is the Great King and High Priest in the order of Melchizedek (Hebrews 5:1-10). He is the King of all nations and the King in our lives. He Is the High Priest and intercedes on our behalf before God. The Veil has been torn and we have free access before the throne in the Holy Place. In Christ, all things are fulfilled and In Christ is all joy and peace. The law is fulfilled in Jesus Christ and exceeded by the Grace of God. Jesus is the light of the world and where there is light all darkness must flee. Jesus is God’s chosen vessel to bring deliverance and Salvation to the world. Jesus was with God since before creation and is the center focus of our Faith.

Only He Has the Words of Eternal Life

John 6:68-69

“But Simon Peter answered Him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. Also we have come to believe and know that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

Only Jesus has the word of Life, and there is no other. When I think about His Goodness I just want to cling to Him. In writing this paper someone reminded me of this scripture and it’s one of my favorites. Peter tells Jesus “To Whom Shall We Go? You have the words of eternal life… You are the Christ”. Jesus is The Christ and He holds the words of eternal life and salvation and strength and gladness. Eyes are opened, chains are broken and lives are healed when Christ is revealed. In God’s word, we have life and it makes us Godly and produces faith. Jesus has all authority in the earth to rule, yet He desires to change us from the inside out. Just as He can raise a man up he has the power to bring a man low. Though many denied Him He still sits at the right hand of the Father with all power.

The Word of God again is Life. I remember when I first really started reading the Word how I was so refreshed and it brought life to me. It changed how I thought and how I acted; all I wanted to do was live for Jesus Christ. I often wonder how people cope with life and the various obstacles it brings. I wonder how people can be happy in this world, this crazy world. I guess this is how Peter felt, to whom shall we go? When you have tasted and seen that the Lord is good and you know He is for you then why would you want to depart? Many have entered churches but have yet to come to the Revelation of Jesus Christ. The Revelation of Jesus Christ in a sense is this – Only He has the words of eternal life. Jesus is the vine, the bread, the way, the truth and the life. For every word He speaks changes something on the earth if nothing more than the hearts of men. The Word itself is all about Jesus. The Word is Life because Jesus is Life. It’s the blood of the lamb that covers us and sanctifies us. He is the center of our reconciliation with Jehovah. Jesus is true to me, He Lives and Moves through me and around me.

Is Jesus true to You?

So finally is Jesus true to you? What Has He done in your life? Have you really become a witness to the Truth? To me, what it all comes down to is this – Has Jesus been revealed to you? For me, Jesus has been my everything. When I suffered a great loss in my family with the death of my brother, Jesus was there to comfort me and still gives me strength today. Jesus is still keeping me, and I am overcoming the world and turning to Him. When I couldn’t find a job and I prayed, Jesus provided for me. When I didn’t know my purpose, Jesus sent me to Bible College. Jesus has given me a ministry as a watchman to declare the day of the Lord to all men both young and old rich or poor because the word transcends race, social status, and pride. I can tell you that I can defend the faith and stand when many won’t. Whether through good times or peril because “I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first also to the Greeks. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith, as it is written, “The Just Shall Live By Faith” (Romans 1:16-17).” What is Faith? Is it merely belief or is it Trusting in God? Faith is trusting God. “Now Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1)” what that means is having a blessed assurance and conviction on Jesus. For He is the thing hoped for, for we have not seen Him. But we hope on Him and trust Him to bring us through, that’s Faith. Belief is nothing, even demons believe but the Bible does not say that demons have faith. And we are justified in Him, it makes sense now doesn’t it. By His stripes we are healed, get it. He took on our shame and our sins and redeemed us. That’s why the Just shall live by Faith!

What is your Testimony?

Philippians 2:4 – 11

“Let each of you look out not only for his own interests but also for the interests of others. Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross. Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

So what Is your Testimony? Has Jesus come in and changed you? The power of God extends farther than just the gifts of the Spirit. To Say you are Christ is to say that you are like Him, and to be like Him is to be as He was and come in the same meekness and gentleness. You’re Testimony and words should always stem from who you are truly. To say you love Jesus is one thing, to live for him is another. Our testimony has everything to do with who we are and if we’ve allowed God to change our hearts like His. We lose our testimony among unbelievers because sometimes our walk is false. Our words are idle and untruthful; we are full of pride and deceit. What makes Jesus the Christ is the power He has to change you and I and work in us Salvation (Philippians 2:12-13). Work in us the fruit of the Spirit. Work in us agape love. If we humble ourselves Jesus will Exalt us and lift us up. Let your testimony be developed by standing firm in the faith and overcoming tests and the wicked one.
